West Leyden teachers earn national certification

NORTHLAKE
Two teachers at West Leyden High School have earned certification from the National Board or Professional Teaching Standards.
Art teacher Caroline Felix and science teacher Todd Veltman completed ten assessments that were reviewed by teachers in their subject areas. The assessments went over teaching practices and their content knowledge.
Felix and Veltman will each receive a $3,000 stipend from the district for their achievement.~.
