District 212 girls’ basketball sign up Sept. 19

NORTHLAKE — Leyden High School District 212 is offering fifth through eighth grade girls the opportunity to participate in the district’s Girls’ Feeder Basketball Program. The first meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 19, in the West Leyden field house at 1000 N. Wolf Road, Northlake. The fifth and sixth grade girls will meet from 6:30-7:45 p.m., and seventh and eighth grade girls will meet from 7:45-9:15 p.m. Participants must attend schools within District 212 boundaries.

The season runs October through February, and 20 to 35 games will be played. The program is in need of coaches. If you are interested in coaching or if you want more information about the program, contact Coach Pancratz at (847) 971-7567 or leydengbball@gmail.com.
