Free coffee and doughnuts will be provided and parking is free. The tournament is open to any chess player more than 40 years old. There will be four sections: Non-United States Chess Federation rated Section A (40-50 years old); Section B (50- 60 years old); and Section C (60+ years old); and USCF-rated — any player currently a USCF member. There are four rounds; game is 60 minutes plus 5-second delay.
Rounds are at 10 a.m. and 12:30, 2:45 and 5 p.m. Clocks and sets provided.
For the USCF section, USCF membership is required and can be renewed or purchased on-site. A half-point bye must be requested before the round starts.
Prizes are chess books for top three in each section.
