Unity Temple Restoration Foundation presents Rescue Me :: Tour of Conservation of Sculpture & Objects Studio at 7 p.m. Aug. 29. Andrzej Danowski will lead a behind-the-scenes tour of his work space, one of the country’s top conservation studios. He’ll show his current work and explain how he has used both cutting-edge and traditional methods to save such treasures as Chicago’s Buckingham Fountain and Marshall Field’s clocks, and recreate Unity Temple’s stolen bronze letters.
